Hypnosis for fears and phobias works by helping the subconscious mind release limiting emotional responses connected to fear, anxiety, avoidance, and negative past experiences. Research suggests repetition strengthens new neural and behavioural pathways, which is why clients are encouraged to listen to their recording daily for at least 28 days.

How the Fears and Phobias Program Works

​

Session 1 – Counselling & Regression Hypnotherapy (2 Hours)

​

Your first session is designed to help you feel safe, supported, and understood while gently exploring the fear or anxiety you would like help with.

​

The session begins with holistic counselling, where we talk through your emotions, experiences, and the fear you have been struggling with. This may include fear of heights, fear of flying, fear of public speaking, fear of failure, social anxiety, fear of falling, or fear of losing someone.

​

This process helps bring emotional clarity and awareness around how the fear developed and how it may be impacting you emotionally, mentally, and behaviourally.

​

The counselling component is provided by Tara J Clarke, who is both a Clinical Hypnotherapist and a Master’s qualified counsellor and member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). Counselling is a supportive, non-diagnostic process focused on emotional wellbeing, self-awareness, and coping strategies.

Once a deeper understanding has been formed, the session moves into regression hypnotherapy. Regression hypnosis is used to explore possible subconscious root causes connected to the fear, emotional response, or limiting belief pattern.

The information gained during this first session helps guide the clinical hypnotherapy process in the following session, allowing the work to focus more directly on the underlying subconscious patterns connected to the fear or phobia.

Session 2 – Clinical Hypnotherapy (1 Hour)

​

During the second session, clinical hypnotherapy is used to help reprogram negative subconscious thinking patterns connected to fear and anxiety.

Positive hypnotic suggestions are tailored specifically to your fear or phobia, whether that relates to fear of heights, fear of public speaking, fear of flying, social anxiety, fear of failure, or fear of falling.

This session focuses on creating calmer emotional responses, increasing confidence, strengthening emotional resilience, and helping you feel more in control of your thoughts and reactions.

Follow-Up Support Session

​

This program also includes a follow-up support session if required. Some clients feel significant improvement after the second session, while others may benefit from additional reinforcement and support depending on the depth and duration of the fear pattern.

​

Your clinical hypnotherapy session is recorded so you can continue reinforcing positive subconscious change at home.

​

Listening daily to your personalised hypnosis recording is an important part of the fears and phobias hypnotherapy process. The recording helps strengthen positive subconscious programming and supports the replacement of negative fear-based thinking patterns with calmer and more empowering responses.

Clients are encouraged to listen to their recording once per day for approximately 35 minutes over at least 28 days.
