Guided Meditation to heal your inner child

Inner Child Guided Meditation

Inner Child Guided Meditation designed to help you gently release childhood anger, emotional hurt, and old wounds while reconnecting with your inner sense of strength and safety.

This meditation focuses on the sacral chakra area of the energy body and supports you in letting go of fears, emotional imprints, and unresolved experiences from childhood that may still be affecting your present life.

This is one of Tara’s earliest Inner Child Guided Meditation recordings, and it remains her most popular—deeply powerful, transformative, and yet is still infused with the same healing energy and intention.

What this Inner Child Meditation involves

This Inner Child Guided Meditation takes you through a deeply visual and emotional journey back into your childhood memory field.

In this process, your present adult self meets your younger self — the “inner child” — and offers comfort, safety, and understanding.

You are guided to:

  • Revisit childhood memories in a safe, supported way

  • Meet your younger self with your present self (the “adult you”)

  • Offer emotional comfort, reassurance, and grounding

  • Release stored emotional pain and tension

  • Begin letting go of fear, abandonment, rejection, sadness, anger, and frustration

This process is known as emotional release meditation and may bring up strong emotions, including tears. Crying is a natural release mechanism that allows stored emotional energy to move through the body.

Emotional release and healing process

This Inner Child Guided Meditation supports emotional release and may help you process deeply held feelings that have been carried since childhood.

When emotions arise during this practice, it is not something to resist. Instead, it is part of the healing process.

Each time you return to this meditation and allow emotions to surface and release, you are supporting your system in letting go of what no longer serves your highest emotional wellbeing.

The present moment is where healing occurs. This meditation helps you return to that awareness while releasing attachment to past emotional experiences.

Spiritual and energetic focus

This meditation is designed to support:

  • Sacral chakra emotional balance

  • Inner child reconnection

  • Emotional release from childhood imprinting

  • Increased self-awareness and inner stability

  • Reconnection with your higher self perspective

It also gently reminds you that there is always an “adult you” present within you now — a grounded, aware version of yourself that can support and comfort the younger emotional self.

You are never separate from this inner support system, even if it has not always felt accessible.
