Spiritual Mentorship for Personal Growth, Strengthening Your Intuition and Inner Guidance

Spiritual Mentorship for Personal Growth, Intuition & Inner Guidance
A Separate Service for Personal and Spiritual Development
Spiritual Mentorship with Tara J Clarke is a separate service from counselling, designed for people who wish to explore personal growth, spirituality, intuition, self-awareness and their own sense of inner guidance.
The focus is on your own exploration and personal development rather than on Tara providing answers, making decisions for you or telling you what you should believe.
Spiritual Mentorship is not counselling, psychotherapy, psychological treatment, medical treatment or psychiatric care, and it is not intended to replace these services where they are required.
Because Tara is also a qualified counsellor, there is a clear distinction between the counselling service and the Spiritual Mentorship service. The appropriate service will be discussed with you before you begin.
Your Journey Begins with Understanding What You Need
Before beginning Spiritual Mentorship, Tara will have a conversation with you about what you are seeking, your goals and the type of support you are looking for.
Where appropriate, this may include an initial counselling process.
The purpose is not to label or judge you. It is to ensure that the service you choose is appropriate for your circumstances and that any counselling or other professional support you may require is not overlooked.
If counselling is the more appropriate service for your current circumstances, Tara may recommend continuing with counselling or seeking another appropriate professional service before commencing Spiritual Mentorship.
Spiritual Mentorship is offered where Tara considers that the service is appropriate for your stated goals and circumstances.
The Process
Initial Conversation
Begin by discussing what you are looking for and whether counselling, Spiritual Mentorship, or another form of support may be appropriate.
Counselling Where Appropriate
Where counselling is indicated, counselling is provided as a separate professional service.
Counselling may address matters such as emotional wellbeing, anxiety, grief, life challenges, relationships, personal difficulties and other concerns within the scope of Tara's counselling practice.
Transition to Spiritual Mentorship
If you and Tara decide that Spiritual Mentorship is an appropriate service for your goals, the two services will be clearly distinguished.
You will be provided with information about Spiritual Mentorship, its purpose, boundaries and fees before commencing.
You will also be asked to complete the Spiritual Mentorship agreement/form before beginning the service.
Spiritual Mentorship Begins
Once the service has been agreed upon and the required form has been completed, your sessions can begin.
What Is Spiritual Mentorship?
Spiritual Mentorship is a structured process of personal reflection, spiritual exploration, intuitive development and personal growth.
The purpose is to provide you with time and space to explore your own experiences, beliefs, values, intuition and sense of meaning.
Depending on your interests and goals, sessions may include:
• Self-reflection
• Personal development
• Meditation
• Mindfulness
• Guided visualisation
• Somatic awareness
• Intuitive exploration
• Reflective journalling
• Intention setting
• Exploring personal values and meaning
• Exploring spiritual beliefs and practices
• Developing self-awareness
• Developing self-trust
• Exploring personal patterns and recurring themes
• Exploring soul fragmentation
• Exploring karmic relationships
• Creating personal rituals or sacred space
• Exploring concepts such as Higher Self or inner wisdom as part of your own spiritual framework
You are not required to follow a particular religion or adopt Tara's personal beliefs.
Your spirituality is your own.
The purpose of the work is to support you in exploring what spirituality, intuition, meaning and inner guidance mean to you.
Learning to Go Within
Spiritual Mentorship is based on the idea that personal insight can develop through reflection, awareness and intentional exploration.
Rather than relying on another person to provide all of the answers, you are encouraged to develop your own ability to reflect, recognise your internal responses and make choices that are consistent with your values and goals.
You May Be Invited to Explore
• Thoughts
• Feelings
• Physical sensations
• Emotions
• Personal values
• Beliefs
• Intuitive impressions
• Memories
• Personal patterns
• Inner responses
• What feels meaningful or significant to you
The intention is to develop greater self-awareness and confidence in your own decision-making and personal direction.
Intuitive & Somatic Exploration
Some Spiritual Mentorship sessions may include guided intuitive or somatic meditation.
These practices may involve slowing down, grounding, breath awareness, relaxation, guided visualisation and bringing attention to physical sensations, emotions, thoughts and internal experiences.
You may be invited to explore what arises for you and consider what personal meaning it may have.
Tara's role is to facilitate the process rather than determine what your experience means for you.
You remain the person who decides what feels meaningful, relevant or useful.
Spiritual or intuitive experiences are approached as part of your personal exploration rather than as established medical, psychological or scientific facts.
Spiritual Development
Your Spiritual Mentorship journey may explore spiritual practices and ideas that are meaningful to you.
Depending on your interests, this may include:
• Meditation
• Mindfulness
• Intuitive development
• Inner guidance
• Spiritual reflection
• Higher Self concepts
• Energy awareness as a personal spiritual practice
• Personal rituals
• Sacred space
• Journalling
• Intention setting
• Subconscious self-exploration
• Past life or in-utero exploration
• Personal meaning and purpose
• Developing self-trust
• Developing inner-power and confidence
• Developing self-love
• Letting go of doubt and sabotaging patterns
• Developing inner wisdom
• Developing inner creativity
You are encouraged to explore these ideas for yourself rather than being told what you must believe.
There is no requirement to adopt a particular spiritual belief system.
What Spiritual Mentorship Is Not
Spiritual Mentorship is not counselling, psychotherapy, psychological treatment, medical treatment or psychiatric treatment.
It is also not intended to diagnose mental-health conditions, provide medical advice or replace appropriate professional care.
Tara will not make decisions on your behalf or tell you what you must do.
Spiritual Mentorship does not involve presenting spiritual beliefs, intuitive impressions or personal interpretations as medical or psychological facts.
If issues arise during Spiritual Mentorship that indicate counselling or another professional service may be more appropriate, this can be discussed with you and an appropriate referral may be recommended.
Who May Benefit From Spiritual Mentorship?
Spiritual Mentorship may appeal to people who:
• Want to understand themselves more deeply
• Are interested in personal growth
• Want to explore spirituality
• Want to develop their intuition
• Want to strengthen their relationship with their own inner guidance
• Want to explore personal beliefs and meaning
• Feel drawn towards meditation or reflective practices
• Want to understand recurring personal patterns
• Want to develop greater self-awareness
• Want to explore personal values and purpose
• Want to develop greater self-trust
• Are willing to participate actively in their own personal development
• Feel drawn to exploring soul retrieval as a spiritual practice for reconnecting with aspects of themselves that may feel lost, disconnected or fragmented.
You do not need to have everything figured out.
You simply need an openness to self-reflection and exploration.
When Counselling May Be More Appropriate
There are times when counselling is the more appropriate service.
If you are experiencing significant anxiety, grief, trauma, emotional distress, relationship difficulties, major life circumstances or other concerns requiring therapeutic support, counselling may be more suitable.
Where appropriate, counselling can be provided separately through Tara's counselling practice.
If a client's needs fall outside Tara's scope of practice or require another type of professional support, referral to an appropriate health or mental-health professional may be recommended.

Can I Try One Session First?
If you are unsure which service is right for you, the best place to begin is with an initial conversation.
Where counselling is appropriate, counselling will be provided as a separate service.
If Spiritual Mentorship is subsequently considered appropriate for your goals and circumstances, you can then decide whether you would like to commence the Spiritual Mentorship program.
You are not required to commit to the full 10-session journey simply because you have completed counselling.
What Happens If Spiritual Mentorship Isn't Appropriate?
Spiritual Mentorship is not suitable for every person or every situation.
If Tara believes that counselling, another professional service or further support would be more appropriate for your current circumstances, this will be discussed with you.
The purpose is to ensure that you receive support that is appropriate to your needs.
This is not a judgement about you. It is simply about ensuring that the service being provided is suitable for the purpose for which you are seeking support.
What Happens After the 10 Sessions?
The intention of the Spiritual Mentorship journey is to help you develop greater self-awareness, confidence, personal insight and practices that you can continue independently.
At the completion of the 10 sessions, you can decide whether you wish to continue with further Spiritual Mentorship, return to counselling where appropriate, or continue your personal development independently.
There is no requirement to remain dependent on ongoing sessions.
How Often Do I Need to Attend?
There is no requirement to attend every week.
Sessions can be arranged weekly, fortnightly, monthly or at another mutually agreed pace.
The appropriate frequency can be discussed based on your goals and circumstances.

About Tara J Clarke
Tara J Clarke is a Master of Counselling qualified counsellor, clinical hypnotherapist and spiritual practitioner.
Tara provides counselling and Spiritual Mentorship as distinct services with different purposes, boundaries and terms of engagement.
In counselling, Tara works within the scope of her counselling qualifications and professional practice.
Spiritual Mentorship is a separate personal-development and spiritual service focused on reflection, spiritual exploration, intuitive development and personal growth.
In Spiritual Mentorship, Tara's role is to facilitate exploration rather than make decisions for you or claim authority over your personal beliefs or experiences.
The intention is to support you in developing greater self-awareness, confidence, intuition and trust in your own inner guidance.
Is Spiritual Mentorship Right for You?
If you are interested in exploring spirituality, intuition, self-awareness and personal growth, Spiritual Mentorship may provide a structured space for that exploration.
Before commencing, Tara will discuss the service with you and make sure you understand what Spiritual Mentorship involves and how it differs from counselling.
You will then have the opportunity to decide whether you would like to proceed.
Your Journey Is Your Own
The intention of Spiritual Mentorship is not for Tara to provide all of your answers.
It is to create a structured space where you can slow down, reflect, explore and develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your own inner guidance.
Important Information
Spiritual Mentorship is a personal-development and spiritual service. It is not counselling, psychotherapy, psychological treatment, medical treatment or psychiatric treatment and should not be used as a substitute for appropriate professional care.
Where counselling is provided, counselling is undertaken as a separate professional service.
Spiritual Mentorship may include meditation, mindfulness, guided visualisation, somatic awareness, intuitive exploration, spiritual reflection and other personal-development practices.
Spiritual beliefs and intuitive experiences are treated as matters for personal exploration and meaning rather than being presented as established medical or psychological facts.
Clients remain responsible for their own decisions, beliefs and interpretations.
Tara will not make decisions on behalf of clients or represent personal spiritual interpretations as medical, psychological or other professional facts.
Where a client's circumstances indicate that counselling, medical care, psychological care, psychiatric care or another professional service may be appropriate, referral or further professional support may be recommended.
Before commencing Spiritual Mentorship, clients will receive information about the service, its purpose, boundaries and fees and will be asked to complete the relevant Spiritual Mentorship form.
The service is entered into voluntarily and clients may choose not to proceed.
